Authors Who Don't Exist 

 do you have sand in your hair and dgaf? 

There by the edge

water ripens to their fuller waves,

and water crashes shores and ripples on riverbanks. 

there is no difference

other than dirt isn't sand

and bees and ladybugs

which land on beaches,

don't at rivers

 just wasps, stink and critters

and probably witches 

 yet water still rises,

 disparages these

towns, villages,

churches

just as water swells and then rains tsunamis 

 red messages sent through ripple currents

 so unpalatable, unimaginable

but all is well

if you channel

your losses into bricks and smear 

and attend your child's funeral
